Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Nurhan Izairi had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in the Republic of Macedonia H.E. Branko Rakovec.
The meeting was aimed at mutual information and coordination of activities in the area of environment between the two countries.
Particular interest was expressed with regard to cooperation concerning final works on the Project “Designing and construction of wastewater treatment plant in Volkovo, Gjorche Petrov Municipality”. In that regard, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Company Riko in their role of Contractor.
After the meeting, Minister Izairi, together with Ambassador Rakovec and representatives of Riko paid field visit to the construction site of the wastewater treatment plant in Volkovo, in order to check the actual status of the project implementation.
