The Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Hristina Odzaklieska, today opened the consultative meeting of the Commission for Dams at the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and JSC Water Economy of RNM. The purpose of the meeting was consultation between stakeholders regarding the management of dams with associated facilities and the most optimal ways to secure financial resources for the preparation of technical documentation for the rehabilitation of priority dams.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Minister Odzaklieska pointed out the importance of the work of this Commission and called on the members to prepare a report with conclusions on the necessary measures and steps that should be taken for a systemic and sustainable solution to the current situation with the dams in the RNM.
