Information for the public 22.12.2022

The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning informs that all measuring stations from the State Monitoring System for Ambient Air Quality are in operation, but occasionally the data from certain measuring points are not available. Namely due to the obsolescence of server equipment, which in the past months caused occasional system crashes, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning approached the procurement of new equipment.

At the moment, the new server equipment has been procured and installed, and the systems and databases are being migrated from the old to the new server equipment. While the migration is being carried out, temporary interruptions or unavailability of certain services are possible during the next few days, about which we have informed the public through our website and the social networks of the MOEPP.

In addition, the process of setting up the system and protection against external intrusions through the internet connection is carried out.

Efforts are being made to speed up the procedure and make all services available as soon as possible. We also note that the data from all measuring stations are available to the MOEPP and are monitored, and if the information or alert thresholds are exceeded, the public/municipalities will be promptly informed and appropriate measures will be implemented. Also, all data that was not available to the public with the commissioning of the new server equipment will be retroactively available/visible.
