Today, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Kaja Shukova, held a working meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of Italy in our country, H.E. Andrea Silvestri.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the good bilateral relations between the two countries continue in the field of environmental protection, and Minister Shukova expressed her satisfaction with the continued support of Italy in the European integration processes of our country.
At the same time, the possible signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of sustainable development between the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security of the Italian Republic and the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia was discussed, and as a special area of interest, waste management at the national level and the opportunities for improving nature protection in the country’s national parks were emphasized.
