At the final event of the BioDiscovery 2023 project, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Hristina Odzaklieska emphasized the importance of all social actors at the national and local level, including the civil sector, in the revitalization and protection of biological diversity.
She pointed out the importance of taking timely actions to protect biological and regional diversity, because otherwise, uncontrolled human activities would disturb the natural balance and could be the direct cause of many unwanted phenomena.
The project is implemented by the socially responsible media production company, Volatile Media, in cooperation with the civil organization Go Green, and with the activity of more than 200 young participants from seven regions across North Macedonia, to take the first steps in an ambitious plan to strengthen biodiversity research through citizen science.
