The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning held a protocol meeting with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain H.E. Jose Luis Lozano Garcia.
The meeting highlighted the long-standing friendship and good bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the support of Spain in the European integration processes, as well as the openness and willingness continue and deepen cooperation in the area of environmental protection.
They discussed the current twinning projects in the field of waste, control and prevention of industrial pollution and inspection supervision, which are implemented with the support of the Kingdom of Spain, as well as the possibility of expanding cooperation.
As a particular area of interest, Ambassador Garcia highlighted wastewater management and treatment. At the same time, Ambassador Garcia emphasized that there is a great interest among Spanish companies that offer new technologies, to participate in calls for the construction of wastewater treatment systems.
