State Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Nebi Redzepi participated in the Second Conference on Environment, Social Policy and Governance (ESG) on the topic: Creating a sustainable business environment. The event is organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in North Macedonia (AmCham).
In his speech, he emphasized that the Law on Climate Action is in the governmental procedure of adoption and is based on the EU climate legislation.
Redzepi also referred to the harmonization of national legislation with EU legislation in the area of climate change, as well as in relation to the undertaken obligations towards the EU for active contribution to global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Among other things, he emphasized that the adoption of the Law on Climate Change is a very important step forward.
