Today, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Nurhan Izairi had official meeting with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of Macedonia Stefano Lazzaroto. During the meeting, they discussed the progress in the implementation of the ongoing projects “Construction of wastewater treatment plant in Gevgelija”, financed by the Swiss Government, Greek Government and national co-financing in an amount of 9.600.000EUR, as well as activities related to the implementation of the project for Bregalnica River Basin management with a total value of 5.270.000 CHF donation of the Swiss Government and national contribution. Views were also exchanged on the course of the project for wastewater treatment in Kochani the value of which is 23.000.000 CHF, as well as the Project titled “Programme for conservation of nature in Macedonia” intended to support activities for preservation of nature and local development of Bregalnica region with a total value of 4.839.551 CHF.
Further on, conversation touched the possibility for initiation of a new project “Construction of water supply system with filtering station and construction of wastewater collection system and treatment plant for the Municipality of Delchevo”.
