The State Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Nebi Redzepi participated in the high-level meeting on the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context and its Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment, held in Geneva on 14 and 15 December, 2023.
In his address, he emphasized that North Macedonia, by accepting the Green Agenda, is committed to encouraging sustainable connectivity through ecological infrastructure. In accordance with the ESPOO Convention, we provide and require a strict cross-border environmental impact assessment, exemplifying our commitment to a greened and more sustainable future.
“Our environmental policies are clearly defined by European environmental legislation. Our goal is one and only – full membership in the European Union”, emphasized the State Secretary.
