(18 September 2015): I am happy with the fact that this kind of international conference is organized in the Republic of Macedonia, the goals being to enable continuous development and promotion of the quality and the competence of laboratories and laboratory staff, through presentation of their own practices and exchange of experiences between laboratories, inspection bodies and quality institutions in the region and wider, said the Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Stevo Temelkovski in his opening address at the Second International Conference “”Quality and Competence 2015” held today and tomorrow in Ohrid.
The event is a possibility for meetings aimed at intensive communication with laboratories and inspection bodies and introduction in present experiences and new technologies.
The Conference is organized by the Macedonian Association of Laboratories and Inspection Bodies MAKLAB and Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia.
