Skopje, 15 January 2026 – The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, held a working meeting today with a delegation from the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia (ECNWM), led by the Acting President, Nuhi Aliu.
During the meeting, at which the members of the Chamber congratulated Minister Hoxha on his mandate, it was agreed that the parties would further deepen their institutional partnership and the exchange of ideas on issues of common interest.
The meeting addressed topics related to the implementation of environmental standards, spatial planning, waste management, energy efficiency, as well as the impact of environmental policies on economic development and the business climate in the region where the ECNWM operates.
Minister Hoxha emphasized that the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning considers the business sector an important partner in building sustainable development and harmonizing environmental policies with the real needs of the economy. He emphasized the importance of open dialogue and continuous communication in finding practical and balanced solutions.
Representatives of the ECNWM expressed their willingness for further cooperation, presenting the challenges faced by businesses, as well as specific proposals for improving procedures and supporting green investments.
