Muamet Hoxha is a graduated lawyer and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning in the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia. He was born on 18 May 1977 in Skopje.
He completed his primary education at “Bajram Shabani” Primary School in Kondovo and his secondary education at “Zef Lush Marku” High School in Skopje. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where he obtained the title of graduated lawyer. He has passed the Bar Examination and the Notary Examination.
His professional career includes extensive experience in the media, public administration and government. He worked as a journalist and editor at Macedonian Radio Television-Radio Skopje, as well as a correspondent for Television 21 and the daily newspaper “Bota Sot”.
Within the public administration, he has been engaged in the Coordinating Body for the voluntary collection of illegal weapons, the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the implementation of the Framework Agreement, the Secretariat for the Implementation of the Framework Agreement, and the Ministry of Inter-Community Relations, where he served as Head of Sector. He has also served as Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
