Skopje, 20 February – The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, today attended the beginning of construction of the water supply network and stormwater drainage system for the residents of the village of Laskarce in the Municipality of Saraj.
“We are making a shift in the way we address conditions on the ground. The goal is to permanently resolve infrastructure problems,” said Hoxha.
The investment in Laskarce for the construction of the water supply network and stormwater drainage system amounts to 85 million denars, funds provided by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, and is part of a broader package of projects that systematically solve the long-standing problems of the citizens in the Municipality of Saraj.
The regulation of the Suva Reka will also begin soon, thereby providing a lasting solution for reducing the risk of flooding in the settlements of this municipality.
