The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, held a working meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs, Bekim Sali, dedicated to advancing the implementation of IPA projects and reform processes in the field of environment and climate action.
At the meeting, a joint commitment was reaffirmed to fulfil the obligations of the Reform Agenda, as well as to improve the implementation of projects under the European Commission’s INTERREG programme, through clearer procedures and more efficient execution.
It was emphasized at the meeting that these projects play an important role in implementing the priorities of the Reform Agenda, as well as in fulfilling the obligations arising from the European Union accession process.
Accordingly, the focus is placed on strengthening administrative capacities, improving project management, enhancing public procurement processes, and reinforcing inter-institutional coordination.
The objective remains clear – European funds should be converted into measurable benefits for citizens, through projects that directly contribute to improving environmental quality and accelerating the green transformation.
