Skopje, 14 May 2026 The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, today carried out a working visit to the Municipality of Studenicani, where together with the Mayor Ejup Abazi, they inspected ongoing infrastructure projects being implemented with support from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
During the visit, Minister Hoxha visited the site where construction works are underway for the wastewater sewage network in the village of Morani. The project has a value of 4,519,715 denars and is already more than 50% completed.
This investment, said Hoxha, is part of the Ministry’s programmes aimed at providing high-quality municipal infrastructure in all settlements, with the goal of addressing the decades-long challenges faced by residents in this region.
In addition to this project, the third phase of the construction of the water supply network is currently underway in Studenicani – a project for which the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning has secured over 53 million denars. The water supply network has a total length of 8.7km, of which 5.5 km have already been completed.
Minister Hoxha emphasized that the Ministry continues to provide strong support to municipalities in the implementation of capital infrastructure projects that directly contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens and protecting the environment.
