Skopje, 30 March 2026 – The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, informs the interested public that the public debate process is being launched for the proclamation of the Belciste Wetland area as a protected area – a Nature Park.
The Ministry, in cooperation with the Municipality of Debrca, is opening a public consultation for citizens, representatives of the civil sector, the professional community and the media, inviting them to participate in the Draft Law on the proclamation of Belciste Wetland area as a Protected Area in Category IV – Nature Park.
The public debate represents an important step in the process of transparent decision-making and the permanent protection of the natural resources of our country. The event is scheduled for 7 April 2026 (Tuesday), from 11:00 to 13:15, in the Meeting Hall of the Municipality of Debrca.
