The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of North Macedonia, Denion Mejdani.
Minister Hoxha assessed the relations between the two countries as excellent and emphasized the importance of close regional cooperation in implementing green policies and achieving European standards.
A special focus of the discussions was placed on the exchange of experiences and good practices in the process of harmonization with European Union policies in the field of environment, as well as on the possibilities for joint initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and improvement of the quality of life of citizens in both countries.
Ambassador Mejdani expressed the readiness of the Republic of Albania to continue and deepen cooperation with the institutions of the Republic of North Macedonia, emphasizing the importance of regional coordination within the framework of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and the European integration process.
The interlocutors reaffirmed their joint commitment to continuous dialogue, sincere partnership, and concrete cooperation on projects and initiatives that contribute to environmental protection and strengthening regional stability and development.
