The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, and the Mayor of Aracinovo, Daut Beqiri, at today’s working meeting confirmed the progress of key infrastructure projects in the municipality.
Currently, four new projects are underway for the expansion of the sewage network and the regulation of riverbeds in the settlements of Orlanci, Grushino, Mojanci and Aracinovo. Additionally, with the support of international partners, work is being carried out on the modernization of the water supply system to ensure reliable access to clean water for all citizens.
Through the Ministry’s previous calls, approximately 200 million denars have been secured to improve living conditions for residents. Within the first investment cycle, 12 projects for fecal and stormwater sewerage and the regulation of the Mojanska riverbed have already been fully completed. Also, in its final phase is one of the largest interventions – the regulation of the peripheral channel in Aracinovo, an investment worth over 63 million denars.
Minister Hoxha emphasized that these investments are a direct result of successful cooperation between central and local authorities. The goal is to ensure better environmental protection and improved living conditions for the local population through modern infrastructure.
