(18.10.2019) Today in Vienna Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Naser Nuredini held several high-level working meetings where he presented the Environment portfolio and the priorities of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia in this field.
During the day Minister Nuredini met the Programme Director on UN Environment in Vienna, Harald Egerer where they discussed the ongoing projects implemented by the UN Environment as well as on the development of new concepts for the continuation and deepening of the cooperation.
A meeting was also held with Georg Rebering, Director of the Federal Austrian Environmental Agency, to discuss the expert support that the Agency continuously provides to our Ministry.Director Rebering expressed their readiness for further support and cooperation as our long-term partner.
The Minister also held a meeting with the Regional Director for South East Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce, Gregor Postl and with the Vice President of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce, Richard Schenz, where they discussed the possibilities for investment of Austrian companies and the use of innovative technologies in the field of wastewater treatment.
