Vienna, 22 April 2026 The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, participated in a business meeting between entrepreneurs from North Macedonia and Austria, held within the framework of the official government visit to Vienna.
In his address, Minister Hoxha presented North Macedonia as a destination for green investments, highlighting specific opportunities in the sectors of waste management, wastewater treatment, and renewable energy.
Particular emphasis was placed on ongoing capital investments, such as regional waste management centers.
The Minister highlighted Austria’s technological and financial capacity and called for a concrete dialogue between institutions and business communities, in order to turn intentions into concrete projects.
“The green transition is already happening, it’s just a question of who will be part of it. I believe that together we can build something valuable, both for our economies and to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come,” concluded Hoxha.
