The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning continues to strengthen its commitment to the protection of the brown bear through the implementation of the LIFE DinPin Bear project, a regional initiative supported by the European Union.
In North Macedonia, the project is implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning in cooperation with the Macedonian Ecological Society.
The meeting focused on the upcoming genetic monitoring of the brown bear population, an important step towards better monitoring and the long-term conservation of this important species.
