Istanbul, 05 May 2026 — The Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Muamet Hoxha, held a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkiye, Ibrahim Yumakli, host of the 5th International Water Forum which is being held in Istanbul.
The discussion focused on concrete opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the modernization of water management systems, strengthening capacities, and applying contemporary approaches to addressing climate risks. The role of regional initiatives as a platform for faster exchange of knowledge and practical solutions was also emphasized.
The ministers agreed that continuous dialogue and institutional connectivity are key to achieving tangible results, highlighting their readiness to deepen cooperation through activities of mutual interest.
