The project’s overall objective is to improve the implementation of regional development policies in the field of Greener Europe, in particular to improve the policy instruments.
The aim of the Environmental Liability Directive 2004/35/EC (ELD) is the reduction and prevention of environmental damage, punishing the damage caused by different professional activities and forcing the remediation.
Target groups hindering this objective or that might contribute positively to it will be involved, engaged or informed through project communication, so that environmental liability is developed in partner regions. The message to convey is the polluter pays principle and the fact that a binding polluter pays approach is indispensable to reach a decided impact on the protection of nature and biodiversity and on pollution.
