Free online lessons on Climate Change at COP 27

At the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held from 6 to 18 November 2022 in the Egyptian coastal cityof Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, countries will come together to take joint action towards achieving the world’s collective climate goals as agreed under the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).COP27

Taking into account the outcomes of COP 26 in Glasgow, it is expected at this year’s Conference the countries to demonstrate that they have entered a new phase of implementation, i.e. that they are taking actions against Climate Change at national and local level, that are corresponding to their climate climate action plans – known as nationally determined contributions (NDCs).

Throughout COP27, experts will deliver free online 45-minute live classes covering a variety of topics related to Cimate Change. A maximum of 50 participants will be able to follow each online class, and pre-registration will be required. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
