Today, in the premises of the Ministry, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Nurhan Izairi had an official meeting with the Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Macedonia Dr. Christine D. Althauser.
The meeting focused on the state of environment protection and infrastructure and considered possibilities for deepening of the cooperation offered for several years by the Federal Republic of Germany to our country, implemented through joint projects carried out by GiZ and KfW.
Particular interest was expressed in development of regional cooperation in the areas of water, air and waste.
Also, the idea to send team of experts to observe the state of environment protection in our country was considered, as well as initiation of certain studies concerning disposal of municipal waste, hazardous waste and used oils.
Possibility for initiation of bilateral cooperation between the two ministries of the two countries was not excluded either.
