Today, 18 December 2014, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Nurhan Izairihad official meeting with the Rector of the University of Southeastern Europe Mr. Zamir Dika and talked about promotion of the cooperation between the two institutions in the area of environment. Topics given particular attention for the mutual cooperation in the forthcoming period that will be subject of signing of Memorandum for Cooperation include:
- Partnerships in the creation of curricula of environment and climate change in the existing graduation and post-graduation studies.
- Implementation of trainings for industry in the frames of EU-ETS Project with Norway.
- Mutual cooperation as assistance to the Municipality of Tetovo in the process of issuance of B integrated environmental permits.
- Possibility for preparation and implementation of public awareness campaign on air pollution and proper waste treatment in Tetovo.
- Development of regional strategy for education in sustainable development.
- Joint participation in research projects in the segment of municipal and other waste streams management.
- Organization of workshops on proper waste treatment for interested parties.
- Participation of experts from the Ministry for different medial (lecturers) in teaching process.
